At every home football game, you’ll find this popular pregame ritual happening at Notre Dame — the McGrath Institute for Church Life delivers spirited lectures on the lives of diverse saints chosen for their uncommon virtue. Saturdays with the Saints brings together alumni and students to rally before the game (and usually fills to capacity!), but this flagship event looked more like a hidden gem than the important ritual it is.
What’s better than a fresh, appealing new look? Through its new identity and promotional materials — including posters, mailers, email campaigns and presenter decks — this event feels polished, prominent and consistent. Now Notre Dame can say: “This is what Saturdays with the Saints looks like!” Its brand presence now aligns with the caliber of the institution and the fervor of the Fighting Irish.
Big thanks to the super talented Stephen Barany for the design of the logo, which served as the foundation for all of the newly branded pieces.
As a longtime design teammate to Notre Dame, I do whatever it takes to secure a win. This crisp visual identity has created heightened awareness for this game-day ritual. And that’s something definitely worth cheering about!
I know great things can happen when passionate, talented people work together.
